URL Monitoring Tool
Monitor your web server and get alerted if the server is offline. There is no point to discuss that any
downtime of your website brings a monetary loss to your online business. Thus it is crucial to make sure that your
website is online all the time. You may be working at you computer but at the same time not know that your site is
offline. URL Monitoring Tool is a software that checks if your server and website is online. It tests a response from
your http or ftp server on port 80 to a given URL and determines if your website or particular URL is accessible for
other internet users. This software will notify you if the URLs that you are monitoring are appear to be offline and
allow you to take an immediate action to fix the problem.
First you have to add some URLs to monitor. You may add
them all in once, one per line.
Then run an instant check of availability all
URLs by clicking "Check Now" button.
Use
custom alarms settings. URL Monitoring Tool can
notify you that the website is offline by a sound
notification or a popup message. You may click
"Settings" button and the dialog below will allow
you to set periodic monitoring of all of your URLs
listed in this software.
Minimize the software to the tray. It will be
running in the background and checking URLs with a
specified time period if you have set the check mark
against "Automatically Check All URLs".
Sometimes due to a DNS server failure at your local
ISP or a backbone line failure or a faulty LAN
switch at your hosting provider you website can only
be accessible from certain locations. You may verify
instantly that your website is online from our
server using this software. Just double-click at the
URL in question and a full check and report on http,
ssh, telnet, mySQL, http proxy, https, pop3 and
MySQL standard ports will be shown in your browser.
Note that in case if you are blocking responses from
certain ports of simply do not have all listed
services running, this test will report an error for
that service. However http response should always be
successful if your website and web server is
running.
